Parmesan Crusted Ham Steak

Oh. My. Ham!

My husband is lucky I love him and saved some of this for him. Between the neighbors who were over and the kids and I we would have ate it all.

This afternoon I pulled a ham steak out of the freezer today and threw it in 2 cups of Italian seasoning dressing.

After about 4 hours I pulled the ham steak out of the bag for about 10 minutes. Then mix together 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of garlic salt. Cover both sides with the mixture with about 3-4 tablespoons of the Parmesan mixture.

Grill on the aluminum foil not on direct heat. Flip over onto the foil after about 10 minutes.

Grill until it is about 145-150 degrees and then remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes.

Slice up after about 10 minutes and ENJOY!!

This looks delicious!!! I love Italian dressing as a marinade but I have never thought about adding the other dry ingredients before grilling.

I tried to make this last night for dinner, and it turned out horrible! I was so disappointed! The parmesan crust stuck to the foil instead of the ham steak when I tried to flip it. There ended up being no crust whatsoever. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Thanks! It smelled so yummy..just wish it would of turned out!

Oh Amanda Bacon, I am so sorry. Did you put it directly over the heat? How hot was the grill? Make sure it doesn't get over 300. I let it sit for a few minutes in the house before peeling the aluminum foil off. My edges stuck but that was it. Maybe so good old pam spray would work.
