Planning on grilling out steaks for Memorial Day? I have a marinade that is super easy and full of flavor.
Those of you who have read my blog on a regular basis know that I love cooking with alcohol, specifically beer and am obsessed with Italian seasoning mix. Well, those are the two ingredients to this recipe, and they will look very familiar.
Just simply pour the beer into a two cup measuring cup and pour in one envelope of Italian seasoning.
Then stir together and pour over your steaks.
Then let marinate for an hour or two or eight.
I let the steaks set for about 15-20 minutes to get the temperature of the steak warmed up before throwing it on the grill.
I did season the steaks with some Montreal Steak seasoning but it wasn’t necessary, just habit.
Grill like you normally do. We cook ours to medium rare, about 6-8 minutes per side for steaks that are over an inch thick.
Got exciting things cooking for Memorial Day? Do share!! Be sure to check out a few of these recipes from last week if you are looking for some other inspiration.

Thanks for hosting! I shared a recipe for green soup from foraged greens along with information on reducing the oxalic acid in the greens to improve mineral absorption.
I also shared a recipe for sardine salad from my iron site.
This sounds yummy! Pinning.

Yummmmmm! I love your Italian beef recipe – I’ve made it 3x now, which is a huge deal because I rarely repeat recipes unless they are absolute favorites! I gotta tell my husband we need to try marinading steak in it – he’s gonna drool his face off
Also thank you for hosting week after week!
