  1. I have a large collection of cookbooks. My favorites are church cookbooks. I live in SW Wisconsin, dotted with small towns and tiny churches filled with amazing cooks. And you know everyone puts their best recipes in those cookbooks!

  2. The original Silver Palate cookbook. It’s about the only one of the hundreds we own that gets opened on a regular basis now that we have the Epicurious ap on the Ipad.

Have you tried anything out of the French Laundry book? I’m afraid to open it in the kitchen – might spill something on one of those gorgeous pages.

  3. Wow! You have an impressive collection of beautiful cookbooks!

  4. I have both PW cookbooks and a Cake Mix Bible. I have some TOH cookbooks, Complete Guide to Baking and TOH Baking that I use often. My Mom has a Joy of Cooking book that she got when she was married. I might have to look at it next time I am home. Gooseberry Patch is always a good place to look for recipes. Thanks for the reference list.
