Crock Pot Cheesy Garlic Brown Sugar Pork Chop Ingredients
Simple ingredients are always the key to the best recipes. That is no different with this crock pot pork chop recipe.
The ingredients are simple just as the name explains:
- pork chops
- brown sugar
- garlic
- cheese
- steak and chop seasoning - Spicy Montreal Seasoning was my choice
Combine these ingredients with butter and some seasonings and you are a mere four hours from the best pork chops.
How to Make Crock Pot Pork Chops
Start by just placing the pork chops in the crock pot. Top with a tablespoon of butter on each pork chop. And then season the pork chops.
So the seasoning...
Paprika is what the original cheesy garlic brown sugar pork chops. However, since I had some spicy Montreal seasoning setting on the counter, I decided to try this on the pork chops.
Cover with minced garlic and the brown sugar. The pork chops are ready to be slow cooked.
Cover and cook on high. I cooked mine for 4 hours because they were still somewhat frozen. Three hours will be completely fine for pork chops an inch thick or thinner. After the pork chops are cooked, cover in the colby jack cheese and cover again for 10-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
The crock pot cheesy garlic and brown sugar pork chops will be a hit for supper. They will taste great alone or dipped in barbeque sauce.
Don't expect leftovers. I have never had leftovers, so I don't have any idea how to reheat these pork chops. They are literally devoured with no chance of leftovers.
