Raspberry Gin & Jam Cocktail

Sharing is caring!

With craft gin being the rage in the cocktail world, let me introduce you to the Lind and Lime Gin from Edinburgh, Scotland. This London dry gin has juniper at its core and a crisp, refreshing citrus finish. So one afternoon, I made all sorts of cocktails with the Lind & Lime Gin. My favorite gin cocktail was the raspberry gin and jam cocktail. A fruity gin cocktail is this raspberry gin and jam cocktail so easy to make with the help of the raspberry jam and is married with the citrus-forward gin with the help of some lemon juice. This four ingredient cocktail was simple to make and great to sip on with my girlfriend.

Simple cocktails are my jam—pun intended. I love making simple cocktails that are surprisingly delicious. Easy-to-make cocktails with easy-to-find ingredients, like my 3-ingredient margarita, inspired this gin and jam cocktail. This isn’t my only gin cocktail either, with the Island Lemonade also having gin in it.

Raspberry Jam and Gin Cocktail Ingredients

The ingredients for this cocktail are straight from the pantry. Well, and liquor cabinet too. Here is what you need to make this gin and jam cocktail.

  • Lind and Lime Gin – This gin is a dry London gin with a strong lime flavor in addition to the juniper flavors. Your favorite craft gin will work in this cocktail.
  • Raspberry Jam or Preserves – I used my Trader Joe’s raspberry preserves in this cocktail, but you can use your favorite cocktail.
  • Lemon Juice – Fresh squeezed is always the best, but if you have bottles of lemon juice in the fridge, that can work too.
  • Simple Syrup (Optional) – The gin and jam cocktail can be super sweet, too sweet for some. So if you don’t like overly sweet cocktails, don’t use the simple syrup.

Garnish the gin and raspberry jam cocktail with a few fresh raspberries or a lemon slice. If you like bubbly cocktails, feel free to also top off with club soda or even champagne. The flavors of this gin cocktail are so refreshing. This is a perfect fruity summer cocktail that is great poolside, lakeside, or just for sipping with your girlfriends.

Hint: Keep your gin in the fridge for the coldest cocktail experience. Plus when you shake the ingredients together, the ice will not melt very much..
