Snickers Cake
Snickers cake recipe takes a chocolate cake mix up a notch by filling it with caramel, peanuts and chocolate chips making for the cake version of a favorite candy bar. #CakeMix #Snickers #Caramel #Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 14 ounce bag of caramels
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanuts chopped
Instructions
- Mix cake mix according to directions on the box.
- Pour 1/2 the cake batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Melt caramels, butter, and milk. Microwave on 30-second intervals until completely melted and combined.
- When the 20 minutes are up, pour the caramel sauce over the cake. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and peanuts over the sauce. Pour the remaining cake mix batter over the peanuts and chocolate chips.
- Bake on 250 degrees for 20 minutes and then on 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream.
